Bayelsa State Ministry of Health begins Integrated Supportive Supervision exercise for Primary Health Care Centres on 4th quarter of the year. Over 54 staff of the consisting of 8 LGA Teams will visit all Primary Health Care Centres across the State beginning from Monday 30th October, 2017. Hon. Commissioner for Health, Prof. Ebitimitula Nicholas Etebu who oversees the exercise in a pre-commencement briefing on Friday 27th October, 2017 at the conference hall of the Ministry urged team members to carry out the exercise with utmost dedication and diligence to ensure that the objective of changing the narrative of the Health Delivery System is turned around for good. The exercise is being carried out ensure availability and improvement in the quality of Health Care Services in the State. The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Apoku I. Matthew, all Directors and Program Managers of the Ministry were in attendance. The exercise is being funded through SOML PforR initiative, Bayelsa State Ministry of Health.
